Custom Hopper Tie – Bring Your Vision to Life

Creating a tie from an individual design is a completely different challenge from making one using fabrics from our existing collection. Not every fabric is suitable for the Hopper Tie shape, and creating a successful design often requires considerable time spent matching patterns, adjusting proportions, discussing possibilities and carefully working through the production process. For this reason, a custom tie requires more time and costs more, but it is absolutely possible when we work together patiently and openly.

Smaller, more compact patterns are generally the easiest to adapt to the Hopper Tie shape, so if possible, we recommend choosing fabrics with smaller-scale patterns. Hopper Ties work particularly well with rayon/viscose fabrics, which drape nicely and allow the shape and pattern to be presented beautifully.

We already have experience creating custom ties for collectors, choirs, performers, and even “Tie Kings nof bow ties” — people who are looking for something truly unique. It is an exciting and rewarding process for us too. Seeing an unexpected result emerge from a collaboration with a customer is one of the things that gives us the most energy and inspiration.
